- Locate the factory boost solenoid near the turbocharger on FA engines
- It's accessible from the top of the engine bay
- May require removal of intake for easier access
- Disconnect the electrical connector by pressing the tab and pulling gently
- Disconnect the vacuum lines, taking note of their orientation
- Remove the mounting bolt(s) securing the solenoid
- Install the new solenoid in the reverse order
- Ensure vacuum lines are reconnected in the correct orientation
- Secure the mounting bolt(s) to factory torque specifications
- Reconnect the electrical connector until it clicks
